To get the fit just right every time, Shimano gives the RC100s three velcro straps. The straps minimise weight, reduces fuss and offers a reliable means of adjustment to get the fit just as you like it. 

The sole of the shoes is a light glass-fibre reinforced unit. This rates 6 out of 12 on the Shimano scale of stiffness, ensuring you get efficient power transfer to the pedals fort rapid progress but with enough flex to comfortably soak up the bumps and vibrations from the road. Lastly, extensive reflective details keep you more visible if your rides start early or stretch beyond sunset.
