It is specifically engineered for high-speed cruising and flat-road performance, utilizing a staggered rim depth and carbon spokes to achieve an impressive balance between aerodynamics and weight.

## Core Specifications

The DB607 follows the “lower front, higher rear” design philosophy to maximize rear-wheel inertia while maintaining front-wheel handling in crosswinds.

### Key Technologies

• VONOA Carbon Spokes: Each spoke weighs just 2.8g. They are 30% lighter than high-end steel spokes and offer significantly higher tensile strength, resulting in a wheelset that feels exceptionally stiff and responsive under power.

• Aerodynamic Optimization: The 2025 model features wider, flatter carbon spokes and a wider external rim profile (32mm at the front). When paired with 28mm tires, this creates a nearly seamless surface that reduces drag and improves crosswind stability.

• Hybrid Rim Design: By using a 60mm front and 67mm rear, Magene attempts to provide the aero benefits of a deep-dish wheelset without the “twitchy” steering usually associated with 60mm+ front wheels.
